meet our facilitators

thrivelife is a growing social enterprise. Our efficacy and reach lies in the strong relationships we forge with partner organisations and experts in the field of leadership, organisational, and human development.

To meet you, your organisation, or team where you are at — and to deliver the training, coaching, or workshops that unlock your potential — we currently partner with two key organisations: BraveHeart and Matrix Images.

Meet our partners and co-facilitators

To run our specialist leadership and resilience coaching and training, thrivelife works closely with some very wise, insightful, credentialed, and experienced humans:

trisha lord

Trisha Lord

Trisha has 38 years’ experience of working with individuals, teams, and organisations in developing the potential of their human resource. United by a vision of a world where connection and understanding are prized over competition, thrivelife and BraveHeart have pioneered a unique synthesis of The Thinking Environment® with insights and practices from contemplative science. Trisha and Françoise’s co-facilitated programme, Thinking with the Heart in Mind, supports leaders in learning to ‘lead from the inside’ by cultivating the inner capacities of self-regulation, self-awareness and self-compassion at the same time as learning how to create the conditions that produce robust, creative, and independent thinking in their teams and organisations.

Nic Bothma

Nic Bothma

From grassroots movements to global revolutions, photojournalism agency, Matrix Images, crafts visual narratives that celebrate the resilience of our planet and its people. Working closely with their founder, award-winning photojournalist, Nic Bothma, thrivelife and Matrix Images offer mental wellbeing and resilience training to the journalists working to tell these stories. Authenticity is a cornerstone of Matrix Images and they employ cutting-edge authentication technology to combat AI’s falsehoods. But authenticity is not just a technological promise; it’s also the foundation of every journalistic story they tell and at the heart of the thrivelife and Matrix resilience training too. Blending Nic’s vast and extensive experience as both a photojournalist and editor, and Françoise’s experience in print and online journalism, the duo offer resilience and mental wellbeing training grounded in the realities of journalism’s demands and stresses. Nic and Françoise pair their skill sets in other innovative ways too – combining thrivelife’s vision and strategy coaching with visual corporate journalism specifically designed for businesses and organisations wanting to engage their clients and stakeholders with a powerful authenticity.

Françoise Gallet, founder

Françoise Gallet, founder

Françoise began her career as a journalist. But a fascination with how systems and their structures – including the dynamics of organisations and teams – can both unlock and squander human potential prompted an interest in coaching for teams and organisations.
Meanwhile, physical health challenges prompted her own learning around resilience, mindfulness meditation and compassion.
She is an ICF-trained coach, and has studied secular compassion, resilience and mindfulness meditation through both Stellenbosch University and Emory University in the United States.
Her coaching and facilitation focuses on personal and professional development at the intersection of contemplative practice, emotional intelligence, resilience, compassion and systems change. And, with a background as writer and in the dramatic arts, her facilitated processes often draw on the creative arts to support dynamic, emergent, experiential learning and growth.
