Making sense of thriving

Dip into our information, insights and practices offered in support of your thriving – as individuals and teams at work.

Trusting in impermanence

When coach and facilitator, Françoise Gallet, was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2024, life offered a poignant contemplation on impermanence. Self-compassion – brave care for social connection

Self-compassion — often equated with self-pity or self-indulgence, it gets a bad rap. But self-compassion has much more to do with fortitude, courage and realism. A skill set worth cultivating, even before you experience adversity.

So, what does it take for us to think well? It takes the courage to bring our whole selves to the act of thinking. And, to do this, we need a framework for thinking well and a framework for freeing the human heart.
